Meet the parents

At the heart of this adventure are our parents. Our mother, a courageous trailblazer, left everyone and everything she knew behind and boarded a ship set for Canada when she was 21 years old, speaking not a word of English or French. A few years later she returned to Greece to marry our dad, and she came back to Canada with a true renaissance man. Our father can repair a broken window, darn a sock and bake a mean baklava all in the same afternoon. Our parents have always been true partners and their collaboration in the kitchen is representative of everything they do together. They are equals and treat each other with devotion and respect. They are the embodiment of hard work, strong family values and love. They are awesome.
